Dear Parents and Family Members,

Welcome to the Family Enrichment - Birth to Age Three Program! On behalf of the ECHO Cooperative and the entire FEP staff, it’s a pleasure to join you on this remarkable journey of early education. We deeply value your role as the first and most influential teachers of our children and are excited to partner with you.

FEP is funded by the Illinois State Board of Education, offering numerous opportunities for you to engage with our staff and access resources that bolster development from birth through age three. Our mission is to prepare every child thoroughly for their first formal school experience by focusing on social-emotional, cognitive, physical, and language development. Together, we aim to lay a solid foundation for your child’s educational future.

Language development is pivotal for school success, and our activities are designed to enrich vocabulary and thinking skills from infancy. An ongoing goal is to encourage reading aloud to children daily from the prenatal stage through five years old, reinforcing the power of early exposure to language.

We look forward to collaborating closely with you this year and beyond, ensuring that each child is well-prepared and thriving.
