At FEP, we believe in building a robust foundation for early literacy by exploring and engaging with printed materials. Every month, we feature a selected book along with a complementary activity that families can enjoy together, enhancing both reading skills and creative expression.
Literacy Bins
When families make reading a priority, talking about books, and applying reading strategies as part of their daily routine and practice, their child/children gain reading skills for school and learn to enjoy reading. FEP is now giving all families a Literacy Center Bin. This bin is to promote and encourage reading with your child/children at home.
Each month families will have the opportunity to create a project at home inspired by our Play Group Themes. These bags can be picked up at FEP or brought to your home by your Parent Educator.
